WHAT IS THE SCIENCE MILL ABOUT?
The Science Mill is named because it started out as a steam-powered feed mill built in 1880.
It went through several more transformations as an operational mill before it was retired. At that point it became a restaurant and entertainment venue in the 1980’s. Since then, it has inspired people of all ages and professions.
Today, the Science Mill is a historic site that serves the community as a place for science exploration. The stark contrasting design of the old and new provides a new perspective to visitors seeing it for the first time.
The Science Mill features several exhibits such as a Fossil Dig, Cell Phone Disco, Colossal Robotic Hand, and an Aquaponic greenhouse. They also offer summer camps and outdoor camps to educate young learners about science and technology.

- Pre-scheduled Groups (10 or more) — youth & adults – $8.00
- Military members with valid IDs can get in at 50% off.
